Search Data Studio by Ampiono · Last updated: October 11, 2026
This privacy policy explains how the Search Data Studio Chrome extension ("the extension," "we," "us") handles data when you use it. This policy applies only to the Search Data Studio extension suite and its associated analysis models.
Search Data Studio provides multiple proprietary SEO models (such as Dynamic CTR and Cannibalization Detection) that analyze Google Search Console data to uncover optimization opportunities and keyword conflicts. You can provide data either by uploading a CSV export or by connecting your Google Search Console account directly through the extension sidebar.
If you upload a CSV file:
We read the file you choose to upload entirely within your browser. The file never leaves your device except for the specific rows sent for analysis.
If you connect your Google Search Console account:
With your explicit permission granted through Google's sign-in screen, the extension requests read-only access to your Search Console performance data (pages, search queries, clicks, impressions, and position) and your email address to display your connection status.
We request only the following read-only permissions from Google:
We cannot and do not edit, delete, or alter anything in your Google Search Console property. Your Google access token is used directly by your browser and is never stored on our servers.
If you create an optional account or purchase a paid pass/subscription, we store your account email and subscription status securely via Firebase Authentication and Firestore to manage your access. Payments are processed securely via Paddle as our Merchant of Record; we do not store your credit card details on our servers.
Before any search data is sent for server-side calculations, the extension removes rows containing the brand terms you provide directly on your device.
The remaining non-branded rows are processed securely in memory to return your analysis results. We do not store, log, sell, or share your search data with any third party.
You can revoke this extension's access to your Google account at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions or by disconnecting from within the extension sidebar.
